These hurricane candle holders have shiny gold solid brass bases and fluted tulip shaped pegs with scalloped rims that will hold tea light candle holders up to 2 1/2" in diameter. The diameter of the round brass bases is 3 1/2" and are 5 1/4" and 7" tall without the glass pegs. The glass pegs are 3 1/2" at the widest and 2 1/2" at the narrowest part of the neck. The mouth of the glass pegs is 3" in diameter. The height of the hurricane candle holders with the glass pegs is 9" and 11". The brass bases are lacquered to retain the shiny polished look for a long time and should not need any polishing. The glass pegs can hold tea light candles up to 2 1/2" in diameter. To mix it up, you can set aside the glass pegs and install 7/8" to 1" diameter taper candle holders. You have a two in one set of candle holders - both equally stunning. These candle holders will be a great accent in any room year round and during the holidays.
